Best 2012 BMW 3 Series

The big release this week has just appeared: The New 2012 BMW 3 Series. The new, sixth generation, called F30, will be available for sale from February 11th worldwide. According to the brand’s CEO, Norbert Reithofer New 2012 BMW 3 Series is the sportiest model in its segment, offering plenty of driving pleasure. The size of this new BMW 3 Series 2012 is higher than the previous generation. There are 9 more inches in length and 5 inches longer in wheelbase, giving an internal space better.

At the front, are 3.7 inches more in width and 4.7 cm at the rear. The legroom for rear passengers was 1.5 cm higher. Despite all these increases in size, weight was 40 pounds less, on average.

At launch, the 2012 BMW 3 Series is available with three engines TwinPower, turbo, both petrol and diesel. The exchange will be six-speed manual and automatic eight, a new novel in the category.

Petrol models are the 328i and 335i, both with package EfficientDynamics fuel economy. The first is a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine with direct injection and 240 horsepower. The engine is the second straight six-cylinder with 306 horsepower.

The acceleration of 0-100 happens in 5.9 and 5.5 seconds with top speed of 250 km / h in both. As for the diesel versions will be called 320, with outputs of 163 and 184 horsepower, accelerating from 0-100 in 8.0 and 7.5 seconds, with a maximum of 230 and 235 km / h.

In 2012 new versions will be added to gasoline and diesel. The 320i will have 184 horsepower from a 2.0 liter TwinTurbo. And two new diesel versions are available, named 316d, 116 and 143 horses.

Then we will see the launch of six-cylinder diesel versions, the xDrive all-wheel drive versions and also ActiveHybrid version 3. This version 3.0 will be the engine of 306 horses with a 54 horsepower electric motor. The combined output is 340 horses.

The 2012 BMW 3 Series will also have the system Control Driving Experience, which in addition to the modes Comfort, Sport and Sport + Pro has an Eco mode, which can reduce consumption by 20%. For the first time, the Series will be offered in three configurations Sport Line, Line and Modern Luxury Line, which will allow a greater level of customization of the templates.

The M Sport Package suspension in the lower 1 cm and delivers a firmer suspension with M wheels 18 or 19 inch, chrome tailpipes and exclusive painting, as well as specific details on the inside.

In Germany, prices will start from 35,350 euros for the model 320 and 43,600 euros for the 335i model.
